Fish Crazy
Ok I have two nicaraguense in a 35 gallon.( I know its 2 small my large tank is almost ready)Water quality is excellent. I vacuumed the gravel on friday and saw no signs of eggs. Nor have I seen anything happening in the time since(and I spend alot of time staring at the tank) this morning I wake up and make my morning visit to the tank just to see whats going on.(routine everyday). Down in the substrate against the glass I see some fry. OMG!! 
. Where did they come from?? anyway. some of them are buried 1-2 inches in the substrate. So I uncover one and whoosh away he went. The current was too strong for him. But mom came and swooped him up and spit him out in the hole she has prepared. Funny thing is these fry are about 6-7 inches from this hole. She then proceeds to unbury the fry and scoop them up in her mouth and spit them out in the hole I saw only about a dozen. no telling how many their were that may have been washed away by the current. I have read that most keepers leave nics to raise thier fry by themselves as they are good parents. From what I have witnessed this seems to be true. However I have a current problem. I have the pu
