Omyfreaking gosh!! All of you guys and girls or whatever with the bettas, you're all sooo luckyl They're like, beautiful, and so different. I think maybe I'll get a betta to add to my guppy tank. So much more color. Awww... pretty.

NO! I wouldn't reccomend a betta in a guppy tank at all! I'd say get a cheap 5gallon tank if you want a betta.

at a very poor lfs i have seen bettas in a guppy tank and the guppys literally have no tails left!!!

Altough saying that, there was a betta in with the female guppies at pets at home. No missing tails or anything, but I'd still say nooo.

bettas get confused with guppy's because of the long finnage and think that they are other bettas.

I dometimes see bettas in with female guppys, maybe because they don't have as much finnage as the male they leave them alone, or maybe they just haven't been in there for long enough to cause damage

Deffinitly get yourself another tank, a 5 or 2.5 gallon tank should run you about 5 dollars and you'll end up with much happier fish.
