OMG!!! Arnie Flaring!!!

I FINALLY managed to get some pictures of Arnie flaring, and he looks SOOOO cute!!! I had never seen Arnie flare until yesterday when he saw my new betta and now whenever he see's him when i move the tank or anything he starts flaring!! Its soo cool!!lol He may only be a pet shop VT mutt but he looks pretty cute when he flares!!

Anyway, after 7 months here a load of flare pics! Some of them are really bad but i dont know when he's just going to stop! lol

He's not actually flaring in this one but he looks cute!

Ohhh very pretty boy!! I just bought 2 veil tails from my lfs...I think they are beautiful though!! I feel an addiction coming on. I only bought 2 but if my boyfriend wasn't there to stop me I probably would of bought more. All of them had awesome colors!!

LOL! Yes, the addiction will start soon, unfortunately i only have space for 2 at the moment but more will come later lol

I didnt actually look at Arnie's tail type when i bought him... I just bought him for his colours cos he matches my bedroom.. thats bad isn't it? ) lol

He's just precious,mutt or no mutt I have a veiltail in my bedroom (well several but this one in particular) who just flares and swims in strutty little circles all the livelong day. Sometimes he just mesmerizes me while I'm watching him

Arnie's been looking much better since i got him a friend! I think its done him good to have another betta next to him.. Maybe its cheered him up a bit, who knows?!

The new betta is quite shy though, he just kind of ignore's Arnie's 'dancing' and threats... Poor Arnie! lol

Believe me when I get a new digital camera I will be taking so many pics!! I will definately show off I mean post pics of my 2 new boys lol

I broke my camera a few months back...and still haven't gotten a new one. They are so expensive and other things keep coming up. I am dieing without my camera though!!!!

Yes the addiction has set in ) I have room for 4-5 and have 3 at the moment. I just need to get the dividers in my tank and then I can add more Ohhhh

he's lovely!!! i must say, my yellow veiltail mutt is my favorite. he flares like mad at other bettas, he sat in front of mirror i forget i had propped up near his tank i came in 10 minutes later to find him just pointed at the mirror still flaring..., why, he even flares at me!!! its too cute

Im going to divide my 10 gal up into 4-5 sections probably and have loads of bettas!! But, of course, Arnie will still have his 4 cgall kingdom! Can you tell he's my favourite...? lol

I think that's true. Often when people say their fish lays around, I want to suggest another betta. But I don't want to come off as a 'betta pusher' But seriously,they're strange territorial creatures,but they really do enjoy seeing someone of their kind. They grow up in a tank with siblings,then they spend months on a shelf jarred next to their siblings....of course they would get lonely when they're taken away

Id been thinking of getting another for a while but i didnt have a spare tank and i didnt want to risk dividing it and one of them escaping and them hurting each other... Im incredibly bad at DIY so this would happen!lol I think he likes being able to see the other betta, but to still have his little home to himself and his cories

Id never really thought of how it must be for the little bettas when they're split up... Its necessary but it must be stressful and lonely for them Oh well, Arnie's happy now!! Just wait until i spend a stupid amount of money on some gorgeous bettas and he still has the best tank.... He is SO going to show off! lol

Lol! Ive never been keen on the opaque bettas but your little pink guy is cute! I REALLY want a betta i saw on Aquabid! He was Ct, green with black 'rays' (??).. He got up to about $100 though which is like, £80! Im NOT paying that for a fish!lol

Arnie cost me £3 i think! Bargain! lol
