This is the only picture I could get of him that turned out. I don't have a digital so I guess you can't really see the little spots. I've been thinking of it and I really don't think he has Ick!!!

I know you can't see but what do ya think?

Okay it's me again and since I was taking pictures of Lacy (above) I took a couple of some of my other fish as well.

Here's "Polly" my Bloody Parrot. Boy do I love him....he is soooooo cute and what a personality!!!!!!!!!

Okay, last one (I think)

This is my Blue Gourami "Kiki" (hybrid of the 3 spot). He is really neat. I just love those feelers. He is the Policeman of the tank, always breaking up fights and patrolling the waters!!! ;o)

they are pretty fish they look really happy are those bloody parrots good fish to house with different fishthe lady at the pet store told me that they were mean

I think "Polly" is the sweetest little guy and SOOOOOO fun to watch. I was told that they are a little agressive having came from two different cichlid species and all, but they also have some deformities because of it that help out their agressiveness in a way. What I mean is (which I admit is very inhumane) they were bred to NOT have a hinged jaw and this makes it impossible for them to close their mouths, they are always open and therefore can NOT bite or pinch anyone with it's mouth. He still eats okay despite what some activists say. The worst thing Polly does is bump into the other guys with his head, but that's even cute ;o) He NEVER bothers the little Cory Cats at the bottom, actually he hovers around them and lets them kick up food for him to eat. In the picture above you can see him heading into a hole in a "sunken ship" that I have in my tank, and that's his FAVORITE spot to hide. Bloody Parrots need some place to hide even as adults. I have heard that once in a while they will get swim bladder problems, but only once in a while and that is a deformity as well. Also there is a disease that only effects Bloody Parrots, it causes black spots on fins and I think the body too, but it doesn't hurt them! ;o) Another deformity because of the cruel way they were brought into this world is the curved spine. I felt sooooo bad about learning all of this info. on the net and I decided NOT to get one, but when I went back to my LFS to get a fish I ended up leaving with him anyways. All his friends had been bought and he was all alone. Plus the guy there was a little pressuring.

The way I see it now is that it would be a shame for him NOT to have had a chance at life because he loves his sooooo much!!!!! And I love him too, he's my husbands favorite in our tank of 12!

Hi Silver

You have correctly identified the colour of the angel fish. It is a Golden angel fish.

Good to hear that it does not have ICK.
