ok to water change?

I have a betta with one popeye and had some body fungus in the tank before, so im 3 days into the 5 day treatment with Maracyn. The water, however, looks a little cloudy now, and im due for my weekly water change. is it ok to do a water change before the treatment is done? or should i wait till the 5 days is up and then change it? (there's lots of poop in my tank right now, and like i said, i think the meds are making it a bit cloudy too.) if i do change it mid-medicate, how much should i do? will it affect the effectiveness of the meds??

personally I'd do a 25% water change and maybe put a spash more meds into the water I was adding.

its a pill... doesnt really work that way...
