Oh, I know how exciting it is to launch into a new fishy project, but with these nano tanks, jumping in too quickly is just a recipe for disaster... The first thing I would do is make sure to read all of the articles pinned to the top of the Marine Reef Chit Chat section. Although geared for the larger tanks, there is a LOT of really good information about tank size, stocking selections, problems and other just "good to know" stuff. I'd also recommend reading, or at least skimming through, the nano journals here in the nano section - there's a lot of good information about equipment, tips and hints as well as pitfalls we've stumbled through.

Again, I know how exciting it is, but the more time you can take now, prepping yourself, the better and smoother it will be for you in the long run!!

If you have any questions, just ask away and we'll be happy to help :)

Hi..agree with Parker. Go to the Marine and Reef section, go to the pinned section and check out the 'Realm of Knowledge' post by Great Lakes. Pick out a book or two and start there. Trust us on this one...a marine just doesn't get up and running like a FW tank. Planning is important. Once this part is done, come here and post a plan of what you want and we'll all dig in to get you up and running. SH
