OHM fins splitting

Well, as most of you know i have an OHM melano... And it's sad to say but his fins are just getting demolished. They keep splitting! Is there anything I can do to fix this? So far I have aquarium salt in his tank...

MelaFix® should be able to fix this. How well the caudal heals will depend on the extent of the damage.

Keep the water clean (to prevent opportunistic infections) and stop the flaring exercises until the caudal has completely healed.



Edit: Check the pH of the water to see if acid/alkaline balance is off. Do you use any water conditioner? Stress Coat® is good because it contains Aloe Vera which protects the fish's tissue and aids tissue repair.
