i moved Mack into his new tank on Saturday, and today did a full water change and set up his filter.
before i even had the filter up i noticed something, he can only swim a bit then stops. once stopped his butt sinks. if he rests on the bottom of the tank he tips over, if he's by a wall he's propped up by it. it might've been because he was at 70f, or maybe because he hasn't eaten.
i think he thinks he's dieting, i have an anorexic fish.
he's collapsing in on himself, and still won't eat. i can't get much specialty food, so i've tried Nutrafin Tropical Flakes, Wardley Betta Pellets, and Wardley Shrimp Forumla Pellets. he just won't eat. i can't get Tubifex Worms, Bloodworms or Brine Shrimp without them being freeze-dried, could someone PLEASE help?
i'd like a list of all the processed, live and 'human' foods a betta could eat, i want him to eat so badly! the poor boy is going to be scale and bone soon.
also, if you live in an area of ontario or quebec where you can get good betta foods, would you be kind enough to send me some? every pet store around here just sells Wardley and Nutrafin, flakes, freeze-dried and pellets. that's it. i'm driving myself insane wondering if i can get him to eat, if anyone could spare some good betta food i'd worship them
