okay, so if i get my cuc in my tanks weds.
and as i need to do a w/c sunday, so ill go up saturday.
but ive also thought if im allowed £30 out my bank can i get 2 clowns at the same time, then would it be ok to do a w/c the next day.

also what would be the best food for clowns

I feed both my tanks frozen mysis and herbivore flake, the Clowns like both. Personally I don't think there would be a problem with adding 2 Clowns on Saturday, not sure I would inflict a water change on them though might give them at least until mid week to settle a bit. Clowns take a long while to explore new surroundings they will no doubt occupy a tiny little corner of the tank for a few days before gradually extending their travels around the whole tank.

its just ive not done a w/c on the tank yet

New Era herbivore and Marine flake is good, any of the frozen marine cubes should be ok as long as its not too large can't remember which is the small and which is the large and going to watch Game of Thrones now so logging off.

Yep new era flakes are good and I bet they do sell mysis, it will be in the freezer cabinet

Dont do a water change the day after getting the clowns, Fishy, it will stress them why not do a water change whilst they are acclimatising?

Yep new era flakes is good and I bet they do sell mysis, it will be in the freezer cabinet i will hhave a look

Yes Fishy, salt water should be mixed for at least 12 hours, better 24 hours - If your nitrate is still <10 dont worry, the clowns will be fine without the water change until the weekend

My clown juvies feed well on flake, frozen mysis and brine. I try to only feed brine once or twice a week though because its not brilliant for there nutrition. Also like George says, don't worry if they stay in a corner for a few days. Mine lived next to the heater for around 10 days but now they are allover the tank there getting cocky now and like to headbutt the bags of any incoming tankmates while floating them in the tank
