Oh no!! I need help!!

Ok well I just moved my betta into a new bowl this afternoon and when I moved him there he was moving about, but now all he is doing is sitting at the bottom with his fins kind of clamped together. He wont even come up to eat. Is there anything I can do? Please help!

1) is the water the same temp, dechlorinated?

2) did you acclimate him?

is he brand new? he may just be a little shy and scared at first, give hime time, he'll come around!

yes, the water is the same temp, and it is dechlorinated, and yes I did acclimate him.

no, it doesnt at petsmart they told me i didnt need one. Should I have one? Probably this weekend I will be moving him to a divided 25 gallon I will have a few bettas in there but divided, I just need to sell some of the fry in there.
