Oh my god!!! a miracle!!!

I just saw something amazing! I have 10 neon tetras, but suddenly, I saw an 11th one!! half the size of the rest, and not has his full color yet.
I've never tried to breed these fish, and I have absolutely no idea how he got in.....
anyone can explain this???

How long have you had them? Could they have layed eggs and ate all of them except for one? Do you have many decorations in the tank that the baby could have hidden in all this time? Anyway, congratulations!

actually, that's not even a possibility
we changed the gravel about 2 weeks ago...
the only thing that remained was a piece of driftwood
and I heard it's not that easy to get them to spawn...
well, truly a miracle I guess...
(I'm still hoping for an explanation though)

maybe he hid in the filter for so long...
doesn't explain how he got there, but does explain why we didn't see him
how big is a neon normally after a month?

Maybe when you bought the neons a baby neon was caught in the net and put into the bag which was vey small and it now has grown ?

could be lot of things though.
