Office Fishie Is Going To Be So Happy!

Today at lunch, I went back to Big Al's aquarium services to follow up on what has been plaguing my community tank. Good news there, it's all clear and everyone is out of the woods, thanks to water changes and some heavy duty meds. ( i had a nasty parisite in it, I think thanks to some java moss I acquired)

Anyways, I digress. While I was there I noticed that they had some 2.5 gallon tanks on for $8.99. I stood there looking at it thinking, I know somebody could use one... So I bought one and on the drive back to work, I decided Office Fishie would have an upgrade from his 1gal.

The new tank is washed out, filled with sand and some new silk plants and I will remember to bring my camera tomorrow to take pics after Mohican has been added.

I can't wait to see how he reacts to his new palace!

That sounds like a great buy! I would love to upgrade my 1g's but I just have no room Hope he likes the new place!

Big Als definitely has some great buys! I buy from them online and wish that they had a store close to me! I have 5 bettas, all in 1 gallons, and need to upgrade my tanks too!

Do you mean Big Al's in Brampton, Ontario, Canada? If so, I went there often, but I know a much better pet store to go to, where they sell HMs, DTs, and CTs more so than VTs.


And an office betta?

I am thinking of putting one in my office as well, I already have a 2.5 tank I just have to set it up here!!

Office betta, "Mohican" is his name, LOVES his new tank. It looks nicer too then the 1g he was in before. This morning I came in, flipped the lights on and there he was, front row and center waiting for me like "where's my food!!! where's my food!!". He is a such a cute little guy. I will get the co-op kid to take a picture on his phone today and post it later.

And do you live in Brampton l.michelle? And I say, yes, you should get yourself and office betta. I find it so soothing to have one at work as well as at home. I bring him home on long holidays and such too, so that he isn't alone for longer then 2 days at a time.

Wow, never knew I would find someone so close!

I used to live in Brampton up until July last year when I moved to Bolton, and this is where the great store is!!

Bolton is only about a 20 minute drive from Brampton, to get to thise store, you can go down Mayfield Road until Hwy 50 then turn left (there will be a toyota dealership) go straight up Hwy 50, you will see a Zerhs Grocery store on the right side, and a vacant store just past the Zerhs, on the street just past the Zerhs, turn right, go down a little bit, and you will see PetWorld. They keep their tanks spotless, have lots of bettas of many tail types you really never see. I have never seen any of their bettas look remotely sick or sad looking. They keep great care of them!!

map There is a vague map of it, but tellign you to go Queen Street to Hwy 50, either way is okay to go.

If you need help finding it more, let me know!! Do you work in Brampton? If so, where abouts?

Kewl!! I'm gonna save up a couple of lunches so I can take a longer one and hit there! I like Bolton, it's much nicer then Brampton imo. I work near the big courthouse on #10, just across from division 22.

I'm excited now!!

Hey wow!! I'm on Hwy 10 too! I am north of queen street, south of vodden, I work at one of the law offices up Hwy10 in an old victorian house.

And yes, go up to Bolton, it's not very far, and the other tail types (other than VTs) that they sell are the same price as all the others, and they have tonnes of girlies!!!

SHUT UP!! I work for that new law office legal aid opened up two years ago!! This is CRAZY! lol I think I might know which house you are talking about, if I am going north on #10, are you the brown brick on the left side with the white sign? or am I totally off?

This is sooooo wierd. I'm excited I now have a TFF friend close by!!

Brown brick on the left side is Kania Lawyers I think, I am a little further up on the right side just by this big green house with a creepy guy that lives there. On the other side of the house there is a brown house that is another law office, Mine i think is more red brick with a big front porch.

But yes, there is a white sign outside the front!

I think it is very neat to have met someone so close!
