i checked the paper this morning and one of our sleazy lfs s is having a sale on bettas. since SALE translates to IMPULSE BUYING BY PEOPLE WHO DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT THEYRE BUYING, i am going to see if i can get the store to hand out care sheets i made with the bettas. surely i can convince them because my sheets advocate buying more products to keep the fish healthy. wish me luck. they open in 20 minutes

they are also givng out 2 free comeets to each person that comes in sadly i dont have any goldfish care sheets.

thats a great thing to do, I would do the same thing ive a store was stupidly having a sale on fish to get rid of them to uninformed people. goodluck

well the manager told me he would have to ask the head store manager who wont be there untill tomorrow. there were only about 15 bettas though-4 of them dead and rotting in yellow fungus-ey water.
in my sheet i recommend novaqua and amquel and they happen to have those on sale today so i was hoping the manager would like that. he said the head manager would most likely let them as they have had rabbit care sheets before.
i brought about 60 sheets so hopefully if they use them, they will last for a while.
if anyone wants my care sheet file, i can send it to you in the form of a word document.
its a little bit inaccurate as i made them and printed them a while ago (at my school since printing was free) but still good guidelines. the only thing missing is the recommendation for a heater-which isnt totally necessary in alabama...
its got pictures of the products i recommend too. (since some people like to look at pictures instead of read)...
