i used to have tons of Bettas, until they all died of various causes. the last was in March, a crowntail named X-Ray. he died of fungus, like ten of my other fishies who lived in the 50 and 10. the fungus was originally brought by one ADF in the 50 and moved into my 10, and it doesn't seem to ever die... last week i scrapped my 10, as i was quickly losing interest and neglecting the fish in it because there was no Betta-face to greet me every morning.

in two days is my birthday, i got my money early (joy!) because i'm going to Quebec Wednesday and my dad and brother are camping all week. i bugged my mom to take me to Wal-Mart, and found myself (no surprise) in the fish section.

i found the very last Regent Starfish (Eclipse Explorer, for Americans) brown gravel, a cracked bell ornament, three silk plants and a stick-on thermometer found their way into my basket, along with a little bonsai kit (YAY.) it's quite nice and quiet, and just sitting there, waiting for the doubletail i'm going to order from my LPS to fill it up.

mommy, the Bettas ate my money...

Great! Welcome back to bettas, and you'll have to post some pictures of your DT when he arrives :D
