Ive got a tank with 4 odessa barbs and 4 rosey barbs and withen the group there seems to be one dominant male which is one of the odessa's he seems quite territorial and chases all of the other fish even the larger roseys, just wondering is this normal behaiour to have one dominant fish in the group or is it just this one fish?

That sounds like normal behavior for a dominant Odessa barb. You can increase the shoal size to spread out the aggression a bit to help with stress.

Like drobbyb wrote, this sounds like the classic behavour for Odessas from what I've read, they need groups of ~10+ with a ratio of at least three females to each male.
