hi,i am going to get a bichir(senegal) and a pea eater.9 sterbai are the cleanup crew.i have 2 salmon rainbows,2 parkinsoni rainbows and 2 boesemans rainbows.what else could i add.maybe a pair of altum angels and a pair of a gentle ciclid.please need help deciding.will definately be changing tank around and buying all fish on wednesday morning.everything else in my sig is going back to the lfs(yes, even my 7 3-4" denisonii)

Prochilodus grow to around 12" and require a far larger tank than a 55g, i would leave them out of your plans if i were you. Altums are best suited to a species tank due to their special care needs, they also need a tank that is 30" tall when adult. Blue acara's are a good peacefull Cichlid that would suit your current tank.

what about ordinary angels instead of altums???blue acara's sound nice.thought they were boisterous????what about festivums???? the bichir is definate as is the 6 rainbows and 9 sterbai(i already own them)any ideas on other fish to add would be great.any other ciclids, puffer fish, leopard bush fish etc etc was told severms as a maybe???

Ordinary scalare angels would be ok as would festivums, severums grow a little large for a 55 community really. Bush fish are ok and would fit in well, puffers do not work in communties at all.
