Revision17
Fish Fanatic
In my 10 gallon nano, I've found something I *think* might be some kind of tube forming polychaete worm (at first I thought it was a snail, but upon closer inspection it's tube/shell looks glued to the rock). I wish I had a camera to take a picture of it, but I don't. So here's my best description:
It lives in a tube/shell attached to the rock. It looks immobile. It's really distinguishing feature is that it creates this big spider web like structure through it's mouth. When something (like a mysis shrimp) gets caught in the web, it pulls the web in, eats, and puts it back out. The exposed part has 2 pairs of tentacle like appendages.
Any possible ideas as to what this thing is?
