Odd Neon Tetra Behavior...normal/odd?

Well, here's the situation and i dont know if its normal or not.

Whenever i turn off the aquarium lights, the black and blue neon tetras both lose almost all their color and seem to be dieing and turn very inactive. If i turn the lights back on, within 10 minutes, they are completely rejuvenated.

Is this normal, should i be concerned?

No problem. Most fish change colour to a greater or lesser extent when it is dark. Have a look at the comment I made in this thread a couple of years back.
