Hello all
Can anyone advise?
My tropical fish are behaving very strangely and have been for a few weeks. They appear to like 'nosing' up and down the sides of the tank continually rather than swimming about. They are not rubbing on the plants or the ornament, just movng up and down the sides of the tank with their heads outward and it appears the tip of the head is touching the glass.
I can't find these symptoms anywhere to diagnose the problem, any ideas?
For background: The tank is about 6 months old, small (about 2.5 cubic feet?), contains 4 (new) neon tetris, a few molly (which are young as they bred a few months ago), and a guppy. I change about 20% of the water every two weeks and use a water treatment supplied with the tank when I do this to remove the chlorine. The tetris are new and they have adopted the same strange behaviour that the others were doing before I got them.
