Odd? bichir

well i just bought a senegal for my brother. Dont worry it's in MY tank. I walked in and it was in an S shape almost and wasnt moving at all. It was completeley still. Is this normal for bichirs?

Mine like to stay still and look dead sometimes, I'd say it's pretty normal

When i first bought mine it couldnt swim properly, its back was always arched. It was funny and my mates took the p**s lol! Its fine now tho
