Oceanic Rock

My LFS sold me oceanic rock its white and looks pourous i'm just wondering, when i purchace my LR if the inhabitants will venture over to this rock too?

If you mean will the oceanic rock become LR, over time yes i think it will. I don't see why not.

Oceanic Rock is not a great description in my opinion

I personally would not add it to my tank unless I know exactly what type of rock it is

I do agree with callell. Could you give us a better description of it? Was it just some white rock with holes in it that was sitting on a shelf that ur LFS called "oceanic rock"? Or was it sitting in a tank with stuff growing on it?
