Not sure if this is the right place to post -- but I discovered the coolest thing: Ocean Visions self-adhesive aquarium background. It comes in blue and black.
It's thin and sticks to the back of the tank. No more water getting between the background and the glass. No more water spots!!! Once it drys, it feels like it's been painted on. Very cool.
Probably many of you already know about this -- but it was a revelation to me! Definitely worth the $4.50 per foot that it cost at the LFS.
