Number Of Bettas...

Hello. In a tropical tank with other fish, how many female bettas could you house together? I have a 5.5 gal tank and I currently have just one; I don't plan on adding anymore fish to that tank but if I had a bigger tank do they do well in groups? Thanks!

If you go down the route of a Betta splendens female soriety, it is advised to get 6+, so that any aggression from the high ranking feamles is spread better within the group.
