Ntl Problems

DO you mean experiencing problems right now or in general?

I signed up to ntl in January, I have the TV, Phone and Broadband package.
After it had been installed I found that I could not use either my DVD or video recorders. I phoned ntl for help and was told to read the instruction booklets that came with these appliances, I was told that it wasn't an ntl problem. The booklets are in the loft somewhere and as I am disabled there is no way I could get them. However ntl were not interested. I had to call in a TV repairman who wired everything up correctly, that cost me £25.
Since January I keep getting letters from ntl telling me that if I dont pay my bills they will send a debt recovery company to see me. Before the system was installed I set up a direct debit payment with them. Each time I phone to tell them this they agree that its all ok and they will take payments and every thing seems ok. Last week.... after yet another letter ....I was told that my bank are not making the payments. A phone call to the bank tells me that this is not the case.
I have now told ntl that they can come and remove the system and I will go elsewhere.
Not once has anyone said sorry.
I do not need to keep getting threatening letters.
