Sadly, tonight (they were fine last night) when I entered my fish room.... I found both my Black Moores with an advanced state of eye fungus.... there was no indication of that yesterday - happened overnight. They share their tank with 4 Baby commets who are all fine....

The pair are constantly pecking at the bottom (no gravel) of the tank and seems to be picking up scraps in this way, so they are eating.

Question is though... (I can judge that it is irrepairable)... do I keep them in this state... Or do I make the decission to euthanaze???

Poor quality photos, but clearly shows what I mean.

They're on a regular schedule of 80% weekly water changes.... Like I said... I've seen enough of these to diagnose as irreversable damage.... They are Blind.

I have a completely blind goldfish, came to me with a tank I bought, his one eye was badly damaged but despite treating it, it had been left too long. The other eye, although I can see into it, its all white deep inside. He feeds fine and has absolutely no problems what so ever, it just means he will live out his days in a 400l tank and not a pond. All I do at feed times now is just call "come on ray" (thats what I called him lol) and he comes to the surface, I drop food as near to him as possible and put the rest of the food at the other end of the tank, he always comes up to the same spot in the tank.

Hmmm, thats a first ive heard. can voice vibrations, connect with fish?? presume you'd have to yell pretty hard to get the resonation to him, specially in a 400l (is ray alone in that tank?
I had blackmoor, swam into the gravel cleaner eye first :/ had some scales taken off in the process aswell. bought some fungus med for the eye but to no prevail. I'd go with what they're sayin. hell, might be fun, something different.
