right so it seems there must have been somthin more to my cory dyin
(visit cory not lookin too good or somthin like that, for more info)

my angel (white) is floating on its side, he/she is now in little hospital tank (roughly 5gal us?) keeps makin a fight for its life... but i dont think its gonan last...

readings from the 40gal it came from are

ph 7.5
ammonia 0
nitrite 0-01 (doin water changes every other day to get this down)
nitrate 30 (as stated cant get it below 30 for some reason... but never goes above it either in both tanks.)

under its gills lookin a bit reddish... weird type red mark on it also next to its gills..

im at a loss i realy am, does this mean my whole tank is gonna just drop 1 by 1?

its been a couple of days since my cory passed on... id of thought if it caught anythin it would have showed the same time (angels were brought a day before cory)

so fed up... thinkin of just tearin both tanks down and not have any at all, even tho i love my fish i cant face any more loses... one of my green barbs in the other tank died the other night... alibino shark was givin it some big time, but since then its calmed down???

soooo had enough..

Gill flukes - small worms that are found on the gill leaves of an infested fish.
Signs of infection include:
Damage to the gills
Inflammation of the gill structure
Bleeding of the gills
Gasping at the surface
The gill flukes destroy the gills, damaging blood vessels, resulting in death by asphyxiation

Nightlife, this is a quote from EddieW's reply to an earlier post. This sounds like what your angelfish could have.

so how do i treat it?

and how do i know if that is what it is???

it mentions nothin of floatin around in a c shape loke my cory did... or anything else... like what causes it???

I don't know anything about it. I happened to see that on another post and it looked like the symptoms you described. Try doing some research on the internet about fish diseases.

You can try posting your question on the Angelfish Web Forum under Urgent Help Needed. They are angelfish experts over there. Hopefully you can get a quick response to the problem. The website is awforum.net.

nope, its done no flashin and its fins havnt been clammped... it didnt isolte itself either... nor has it spent time down the bottom by itself...

just and update, both my angels have now died, my black one showed the same sighns last night so i put a divider in my tnak and put them both in there :(

none of the other fish seem to be showin any sighns... they all eating normaly... swimmin properly not gaspin for air or anythin.... no marks in any way shape or form..
