Now! Is This Overstocked

hi im no expert but when i was just lookin on the net i came across this tank if you look you can see over 15 fish, its got koi, commets, fancy goldfish and a pleco. well i was thinking that is a well overstocked tank. Am i right?

There's no way of knowing how big the tank is but of course it is. :dunno: As soon as you put koi in a tank you are asking for trouble. However, it could be some kind of grow out tank or something...
 
That tanks got to be under 3' IMO when you look at the features in there such as Ehiem input tube and stuff like that. And i thought i was overstocket with 2 goldies in a 10G. :no:
 
by my understanding the rule of thumb fpr goldies is 20 gal min for one and 10 for each additional. with there being a koi in that tank it is def not big enough. liveaquaria.com says 1000 gal for koi.......they grow to about 3 feet so that alone tells you that the tank should be alteast 15 feet x 15 feet.....just a quess not quite sure. if you look carefully there is also a common plec in the tank(its sitting on the bottom near the biggest one.) also you should keep koi and commets with fancies. IMO this tank is def a very bad set up.
