Got back from the pet shop late this afternoon with the final things I needed.
Now all I need is the fish!
I still gotta set up the tank and let it run thoroughly first, and I'll read the fishless cycle threads beforehand.
I think the pet shop was beginning to get fed up of seeing me 'Umm-ing' and 'Ahh-ing' comparing things in the shop to buy every few days, But the next time they see me I'll be spending £4.95 on a Betta =]

I've already picked out the three I like, They've been in the shop for the past 9 weeks.
It's either the really Vibrant Red, The turquoisey blue one with red tipped fins, or a pretty much pale peachy-opaque one.
Any help with the colour choice?

Hey, you do all the umming and ahhing you like. I'm sure a proper fish shop would prefer that to someone who comes in talking a load of rubbish as thought they know it all but know nothing

I'm a sucker for more unique and different fish. I just like bettas that you don't see all the time. My first guy was white(ish) bodied with some red/blue/turquoise fins.

I would go with the peachy-opaque. ... but of course it is ultimately your decision and you should certainly get what suits you best. Don't rely on what we tell you. *cough* get the peachy-opaque one *cough* . did you hear something?
