My tanks have been running well, with summer here,I've not had much time for them, other than normal maintenance... from my morning caffeine perch, it's all is as it should be... my last fish, the little panda loaches, are growing, and active, and highly visible in that tank...

but, tomorrow a fish box is scheduled to arrive, another group of 4 of each, blue, yellow, and orange neo shrimp, each going to their respective tanks, to bolster those breeding colonies... my cherries are the only actively breeding in noticeable numbers, though the other colors are surviving, I'm not seeing many babies, or the numbers increasing much, so we'll add a few more, and see if we can jump start them, also tomorrow 2 pairs of Japan Blue Gold Double Swordtail guppies are coming for the orange shrimp tank, that doesn't currently have any fish in it yet... unfortunately I won't be able to see any of those from my caffeine perch... but then those tanks, that I watch, are pretty much stocked, so nothing new to observe, but properly running fishy worlds...

I do have a couple tanks, that I'd like to add some fish to, but specific fish, and they haven't been available must be seasonal thing???

the Santa Maria Endler fry are growing well, the biggest is already a little over a cm long, and there are 5-6 of various size... nothing with color yet... in another tank the white cloud minnows appear to be thriving, and are likely 1/2 to 3/4 of mature size, no idea if they'll breed in that tank, ( I've never bred egg layers, other than mouth brooding cichlids ), but they don't interfere with with the yellow shrimp at all... there is still a smallish super red pleco in that tank, that I should remove yet, as I imagine it would be hard on egg scatterers, and probably neo shrimp babies... looking forward to these new guppies coming...

well these guys are pretty in the bag, expect they will color up
nicely in the tank...

these guys look amazing, in the tank... not a good picture yet... but they look great in the planted dark substrate tank

I've been without my swordtail guppies for a few years now and miss them, especially the Vienna Emerald double swords and lower swords, the original stock for which I got from Alan Bias. I also worked with the other vintage tail types--speartail, pintail, upper sword, cofer tail etc. I think you will enjoy them no end. I did.

4 hours later, everyone looking good

a couple days now, the male that looks most close to the one pictured from Dans, above is really nice, will be trying to get a better shot of that one... difficult, as those tanks are shoe horned in sideways, so I just have the small side to the front, and they are deeper front to back, in this position... the planted dark substrate tank works well for them, every bit as gold, as in that picture, but the blues are much richer...

I'm liking having smaller live bearers in my shrimp tanks, like these guys, and the Santa Maria endlers...
