Not Enough Open Glass?

I've got an odd shaped tank as seen here http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?showtopic=307484
Now, my plans are to create moss walls that completely cover the two back sides, leaving the two small and one large front panels clear.
Do you think this would be a bad move for my BN's?
I know they like to graze from the glass...

I cant see a problem within the idea itself, the plecs will graze on anything they can, if the glass isn't available they will just move onto what is. The only problem i can see is the potential to get caught in whatever is holding the moss in place.

Yep, my bn are on everything in the tank. My adults are rarely on the glass. The tend to stay either on the wood or rock.

The moss will be attached to plastic 7 count mesh via 6lb fishing line that will be interwoven and tightly finished so that the most line they could possibly try to get under would be less than 1cm at any point.

There's plenty of bogwood, some rocks and caves for them to graze too.
Guess I'm just being over protective LOL

I'm sure everything will be fine. Keep an eye on them just to be safe I guess. My experience the bn tend to stay around the caves and shadows. Except at night they wander a bit. But as long as there is sufficient food where it is easily accessible then they shouldn't put too much effort to get behind something for it.

They really wouldn't need to get under it to get caught, they are quite ..how can i put it lol (prickly/spiny) around the mouth region (hook like barbs), there is a potential for been caught but if everybody thought like that no one would ever try anything ;).

Try, just be aware to check frequently just to be on the safe side, should be fine but an air of cation is always a good thing.

I'm not so much worried about them trying to get behind it or getting caught as I'm confident that what I intend (easier to show than explain and I'll post pics when I'm done) will be secure. There's been a lot of thinking before doing on that count :good:
I was more concerned that blocking the glass on two sides might have reduced their grazing grounds so to speak.
But there are plenty of other (rock, cave, wood) surfaces for them within the tank :good:
