Abrid passed while I was away for Thanksgiving, and now his brother Vassago is gone :(
I have no clue why, I just found him lifeless at the bottom of his tank today, and now Librabis is pale and acting very lethargic... Those two were in the divided 10 gallon together, so I hope it's not something contagious . Librabis has been isolated, but I honestly don't think he's gonna make it through the night. The others in the 10 gallon still look fit as fiddles, thankfully.
In some way I guess it's sweet that the two brothers died within days of one-another, but it doesn't make it hurt any less :-(

Anyway, I guess I just needed to vent some.

Ah, I'm sorry Synirr.

They were very beautiful boys.

They were both tremedisly beautiful!

Sorry to hear about your boys

I agree it has been a bad week for bettas, my little multi-coloured mutt girly died yesterday :( she too of a mysterious illness :-(

And today Librabis has joined them, as predicted

Awww Synirr I’m so sorry. All three at once is just heartbreaking.

They had long happy lives with you though. Since they are VTs just think of how you saved them from their little cups somewhere… and what joy they had.

They were all very pretty. Just try and let all your new baby bettas help fill your void and know such is the circle of life. :(

May they RIP.
:-(

Sorry to hear about your loss. Three passing away in such a short period is particularly hard. I had a period ealrier this year, when I would loosed one a month, lock clockwork. Roy and Ralph will probably be next to go among my fish.

But no matter what we do, when one fish is sick. The others are at risk. We always use some common equipment for our fish (gravel vacs, turkey basters) so there is some risk of contamination.

Sorry to hear about your losses :( . I can sympathize some, my applesnail died while I was away for Thanksgiving. But I was not especially fond of him because he was a very very messy critter.

Sorry to hear that...beautiful little fishes. :-( All my Cardinals died over the thanksgiving as well. :-(

Sorry about your losses--that is a lot to take in such a short time. Hope it doesn't happen again when you get your next bettas to fill the tank. :(
