USA,
have any of you even been to the NEC? It is in CT this year, dont know if it has ever been there before. I live in CT, and only like 45 mins from me, so I was thinking about going to the auction on the 20th of March. But do you have to go to the other two days of stuff as well, the lectures? It seems exciting to have a convention close by, we nevber have anything in CT.

I live in mass are these things good to go to, would it be worth the drive for me to go? What goes on there?

no idea, thats why i thought id ask, i do know that many ppl. do go to auctions etc, and this one is supposed to be the longest running one.

Hey guys. I'm heading down to the convention this weekend. My boss is sending me all expenses paid. :) I live in Mass on the RI border. I believe that in order to participate in any of the activities (workshops, auctions, etc..) you need to have registered before hand. I could be mistaken though. It's my first time going as well. If you are heading there, my name is Dan. Hope to see you round!

I'm not familiar with the NEC, but I am a new member of the MAS (minnesota aquarium society). I've been to a auction and a meeting so far. The auction was nice, I didn't buy anything but they had tanks and fish going really cheap. They are having a fish show at the end of the month, that I am hoping to go to. But being only 17 I'm one of the youngest members with the majority of the members being much older. I sometimes feel out of place  .
