I have 8 albino cories and they all seem to be nuts!!! They are supposed to be bottom feeders right? They are flapping around the left side glass and it looks so frantic? My water tests are showing what it should: 0 ammonia 0 nitrite about 20 nitrate. help?

I just got some albinos & mine are very active up & down the tank top to bottom.
They tend to spend the evenings at the bottom & during the day they swim all over the tank

Oh! what a relief. thnx for the quick answer. I'm such a paranoid fish momma! lol

:D Probably working off their dinner. Been adding new varieties of food everyday... thnx!

Mine go mad for the shrimp food, poor shrimps only get the leftovers.
I have some habrosus dwarf/pygmies & they're very quiet, they stay hidden quite a lot

oh the pics of them that I just looked at are soooo adorable. They have cute little faces. I'll stick with my crazy albinos though :hyper:

Oh one more ? Are the trilineatus and Jullii cories as wild as the albinos?

Thanks for the replies!

Can't answer you about the julii & trillineatus but my sanchesi are very active too.
My peppered have their moments when they all have a mad half hour zooming round the tank
I'm fast becoming a cory addict lol

Yes Tri's are just has bad

I have 15 pygmies and they still hide unless its feeding time or they want to shoal with the harleys, i find with the the pygmys & hastatus are shy, and wary of more active fish...

The habrosus which do grow larger than the other dwarfs,do tend to get more adventurous the older they get, mine like hanging out with the trilineatus.
