noise proteen skimmer

first off myskimmer works realy well it just makes a little girgaling noise

if any one has any solutuions or a sugestion for a really silent skimmer it would

be grately apreciated.

I think that you will find that most skimmers will make a noise. the only really quiet ones are te ones that sit in sumps which have the pumps under water and are inside a cabinet.

The Deltec ones always get a good write up - but there are others.

I have a Tuboflotor fitted in a Aquamedic Perc 120 tank and it's great.
Actually quieter than a poxy little pump fitted with a ventrui pipe in my cold water tank!

yep, I'd say deltec are the best or aquamedic are a close second.

If you have a big pump or a big air intake, it might still make a little noise if it's submerged in the sump. If the water is pouring back out, it will make a soft splash. . .
