I'm a guy with an unusual combination of hobbies.... fish tanks and jazz brass xD my questio is, I usually practice kmy trumpet and my trombone in my room, where have a 26 gallon to which I just added some blue rams and danios. Normally I wouldnt think much of it, but since im trying to breed the rams, ive been wondering if the noise might disturb them? the danios at least act a little funny when I play trumpet, does anyone else know anything about whether otr not it stresses them signifacantly or not?

If they are used to it they should be fine. The door to my fishroom is on the left;

Between metal bands practicing under the drummers breeding setup years back to a buddy with dozens of tanks who is a half block from a major airport & right under the flight path, they get accustomed to different sounds.

DJ set up & also a studio production set up (with same speakers) next to my tank with no problems at all, tank is pretty darn close too.

I'd say there's possibly more vibration coming from the air stones in the tank itself then most other things!!

The trumpet seems to agitate the danios a little, and it used to scare the pants off my geophagus (temporary resident who was in time out for murdering my severum)but the trombone doesnt bother them at all.... maybe its just the direct high pitched sound as apposed to the deeper broader sound
