NO TO CARBON?

I tossed out the carbon filter and am just running my filter without anything in it. My understanding is that the carbon is not used by many people, and many use a piece of foam. Is that all I need? I haven't put anything in since Sunday. Water readings are all perfect.

The foam would have to be safe for the tank. From my understanding, filter fiber is used, not foam, though I suppose foam would be available...

Anyways, yes, that is all you would need.

I don't use black carbon either, only really need it when you have to remove meds from the tank, filter floss in it's place should be fine.
