Need a new home soon as they're in a 2ft tank on their own. From my experience with them they require a shoaling fish with them as they may be very timid without. My pair are beautifull and very rewarding to keep. Would make a great addition to a cichlid species tank with similar size fish.

I'm local and interested but do you think they'd be ok with my community tank? It's a big 400l tank but there are some fairly small fish in it (plattys, guppies, mollys etc). There are also lots of kribs, a few sharks and a 20" plec. If you think these'd be ok please feel free to call me on 07757 105 847 or 01926 858501 and I'll pop round some time.

Also, let me know if you'd prefer to swap for any fish. (The kribs are beautiful and breed like mad so I'm never short!)

It turns out one of the 'females' appears to be a late blooming male and they seem to have paired off and are currently spawning. So it turns out i have 2 breeding pairs of dempseys. Goes without saying that these are off the market as of now. I do apologies for getting anyones hopes up.
