Gold fish will quickly out grow a 10 gal. You really do need a filter and a heater. What I would suggest doing is going to the local dollar store and picking up a power bar for 2 bucks. I have my computer, printer, aquarium and tv on all the same breaker. You'll do yourself a favor for latter and your opitions gets larger.

NO WAY!
never keep a goldfish in a 10gal, not even for a short time.

Zebra danio (danio reio), Leopard danio (danio frankei [reio])
White cloud mountaim minnow (2 colours, available) (Tanichthys albonubes)
Sunfish (variouse types) but for yhe UK a licence is required,
native fish, like common minnows, sticklebacks etc
HTH :)

But those fish would still need a filter, and the zebra danios and leopard danios would need a heater as well.

P.T.

I don't aggree P.T.
Do you really think that I would suggest keep Danios in a unheated tank, Me that greatest danio guy on here, if they couldn't?

I suggest that you checkout my website and see what the min temperatures are for Danios!

Granted we are talking about normal room temperatures and not cold basments, but at normal room temps the two danios I mentioned can happy stay without a heater. Do some reasearch before you answer peoples questions.
