I have high nitrite values I need help

I'm very worried for my fish they all look fine but this nitrite level is alarming.

I have not lost any fish yet I repeat yet

This is what I have in there right now

4 Colombian Tetras
3 red eyed Tetras
1 Honey Gourami
7 neons
1 Oto

How can I drop this Nitrite level to zero

Please help I desperate

thanks

I have done a partial water change already earlier today but levels are still really high waht else can I do

I don't want to use chemicals

thanks

Yep my tank is only 11 weeks old 30 gallon

will daily 1/4 water changes for the next week be okay

When i also had a nitrite problem i was told to reduce feedings by half(or non at all) increase aeration, and do daily water changes of 15-20%. So i only fed mine 1x a day(with some days not at all) and dropped my water level by over 2 inches to increase aeration(i was gonna add my spare air stone but the extra current looked like it stressed them). I also heard that aquarium salt is good to add because they take in the salt and not the nitrites so it somewhat protects them, but alot of fish are sensitve to salt(ex: most bottom feeders and neons)so i couldn't do this. Its been over 2 weeks and i haven't lost one fish yet...notice I have alot of sensitive small fish too but maybe im just lucky. Good luck !

the best way to lower nitrates is to do a daily water change of about 20% if you don't wan't to use chemicals.
