nitrate?!?!?!?

I just bought my tank, 5 gallons, I know it is small, but this one is for the room. Well I have read about fishless cycling and I will try to begin tomorrow; however I want to know how to look out for nitrates and do you know any good kits that could test for nitritates and the other such things needed for fishless cycling. Thanks

i dont know why you're concerned with nitrates at this point.

Yes, your first concern is the ammo and nitrite readings.... nitrate comes much later.

I use the Ammo, Nitrite, and Nitrate test kits made by Aquarium Pharmeceuticals Inc.
