Nippy Glowlights?

i know its in the wrong forum but i thought it wud get more hits in here as no1 hardly goesin Charchin, Cyprinind and atherind (sp)...so here it goes:

- i was just wondering wether glowlights nip guppys, as i know that head n tail lights do sometimes.....but as i want to get some i am now wondering wether they nip; there qouted as:

"Generally good community fish"

...so wat do u guys/gals think?

I have heard most tetras usually nip long fins but its not always the case.

are you going to have all male guppies? If so, there must be 5 minimum. If your going for male and female mix, then you need 1m and 2f but would then have a problem with fry!
 
bigger the group and bigger the tank the less nippy they are going to be.

you could always keep female guppies, not as big fins, they have some colourful 1's in my lfs atm.

i keep glowlights and neons,
they never bother any of my guppys,the neons play rough with each other some times,ive never had any probs with the glowlights,donna :)
 
It all depends on your definition of nippy. Grabbing a guppys tail and taking a chunk. No. "Playing tag" with each other and their tank mates that are in the area. Then yes. Generally they will be playful, but not harmful. Like mentioned above, the bigger your shoal, the more they will just interact amongst themselves. The fewer, the less playmates they have so they try to get the other tank mates involved.
