Hello,

Not sure what this one is called but for some reason he is really fat.

Water is all fine.

He is acting fine and eating fine.

Picture was when I first got him not recent not he is fat. He has a really big belly like exploding is this normal??

Could Nigel be a Synodontis shoutedeni? These cats do get a natural "fat" look.

Thanks! yes been looking at some vids on youtube and they all appear to have fat bellys! Thank god,thought he was going to explode. Mine is really fat though, going to limit his pellets because he is a ganet lol!

i thought there was something wrong with my syno aswell, he too is pretty round bellied. but hes been fine, been like this for months now.

Hmm, not so sure on the S. shoutedeni idea now, the patterning does not look right against any of the many variations of the catfish...

Could maybe be a S. euptera, perhaps? Another "fat" cat!
