Hey all, I’m new-ish to the hobby. Figured I’d stop by and join the forum since I’ll need all the help I can get!

Right now I have an 80 gallon freshwater aquarium. Currently stocked with 1 RTBS, 1 Whiptail Catfish, and 12 King Blue Tetra (Cochu’s Blue Tetra.)

The tank is cycled, but I’m struggling to find a hardy/aggressive enough fish to add. Just recently I had 6 Turquoise Rainbow fish in there, but had to take the survivors out after the tetra began terrorizing them.

I knew these tetra had a tendency to get aggressive, but didn’t expect them to be this bad.

Thank you in advance, and I’m glad to join the forums!

Blood fin tetra pair well with blue tetra as the blood fins have a similar fast active swimming style. Though its not a guarantee the blues wont chase them but blood fins are fast and active so might fare better.
What RTBS??? Im either not familiar with that acronym or having difficulty deciphering it?:)

Hi welcome to the forum. I had some of the blue tetras for a while were very nippy fish suspect they need a huge group to manage it and fast tank mates with short fins. Surprisingly large growing too. Didn’t keep mine for long unfortunately.
