As well as the very popular mini landscape rocks and dragon stone that Aqua Essentials supply, you may be interested in seeing these...

Light Pagoda

Leopard Stone

I'll be using these, and some nice brachy wood, to aquascape two 350 litre Fluval Venezia corner tanks at the Festival of Fishkeeping next weekend.

I'm liking the light pagoda rocks! I think they'd make a really nice desert style scape with some of the red ADA Africana or Malaya soil/sand. Sort of Grand Canyon if you will. But of course, that would mean no plants

Finally
:#
You named them!
:kana:
About six years ago I used to go to a garden centre and buy about two or three of the Pagoda rocks each week. They were roughly seven quid each.
But they stopped selling them. And all I had to go on was a likeness to my lizards name. Pagona Vitacepts (Bearded Dragon).
But no one sold them arond here, nor had they heard of them.
George, where could I buy some? I have about 14 of them now but want more, being the gready sod that I am.

Can I use my joke on here aswell or is it a bit tacky to cross-post jokes George? :)

Bloomin' eck, some of those rocks look just like a bottle of Stella! That is uncanny!

(Sorry!)

Ok, here's a stupid question for you, but it's been bugging me for a while

My oh is constantl drumming into me (usually when I'm struggling to parallel park) that men have excellant spatial awareness whereas women...well...don't

How do you order rocks (or wood for that matter) from an online store and know that they are the right size/shape for your tank/scape?

I've been looking for 3 nice pieces of rock and the leopard stone fits the bill in terms of the colour and texture I want. But size-wise... :dunno:

Apologies for the hijack, but maybe a few other people will have wondered the same thing!

i have had the exact same thoughts. i just bought a ton of bogwood. looked at aquaessentials but did not know how big a "large" piece as they call it actually is.

i opted for the LFS where i could choose from about 200 pieces (wildwoods, enfield if your interested). i even took a tape measure as i knew the exact size i wanted. if they posted pics of rock/wood with a tape measure next to it at least you would have some idea when purchasing online.

bit off topic here, George have you ever thought of hosting your pictures on photobucket instead of imageshack?? images hosted at on photobucket load so much faster..

I ended up with 2 pieces when I ordered the "Large" redmoor wood from AE last week. 2 great pieces!

They fitted into a dustbin liner (length wise) with not much room to spare if that helps give them scale. The more branchy one is approx 50 - 60 cm long!
