Nice Easy Starter Tropical Fish?

We're definely coming down with the bug We've started a journal for the boys and they are learning about how to look after the fish when they get them.

I wish these shops were more honest.

Its engaging one of my children in particular (whose autistic) on a whole different level. Mainly because theres absolutely nothing you can do and have to take it slowly and learn.

Fingers crossed it goes successfully! I think mummy and daddy will need their own tank (maybe a year or so away though lol).

Mystery snails are also quite fun.
Mystery snails make great pets on their own and looked after grow quite big. Oh and they do poop a lot.

Hi guys .. sorry to be a pest .. ive got some dr tims one and only .. i've used aqua bio boost and their conditioner should I start from scratch? I'm a bit confused .. the tank is now home to 2 beautiful plastic jelly fish from the petshop I'm thinking this might be my total mental capacity at this point!

I used bioboost and the conclusion on these forums was that the chances of it working as described was slim but it definitely did something :) dont start again, just get introducing the ammonia :)

My cycle was a calamity haha had to get a lot of advice from here. Worth it though. Fish in my tank for almost 2 weeks now and no ammonia spike yet :) i dont think im quite out of the woods for now...

Having fish in your tank when it hasnt finished cycling means daily water changes... Which we dont really want. And even if the fish survive then they wont live as long.

I spent the time researching the fish and have ended up with some that i absolutely love :) totally worth the wait!
