Nice Betta Homes?

ok so i have got kogen now...i want more!!
kogens set up cost me about £110 including him..but i havent really got the room or funds to spend that kinda money on bettas every time i want one!

what tank's do you all use with what setup's for your bettas to make them happy and comfortable?
2.5's?with just a heater?(substrate and plants too obviously).

im thinking maybe 2-4 new tanks all with heater's on a nice unit(if im allowed!! gf is the boss )

That is alot. I got most of my tanks for around 20-30 all inclusive. the smallest tank is a 3g and the biggest is a 10g. The 3g only cost about a fiver for the tank with lid. I had a heater for it already and nabbed some substrate for it from another tank. No filter as she is blind and wouldn't cope with it.

Bruce - £100+ (gift) Mirabello 7G, excellent tank, but pricey! was a birthday present fortunately
Chi - £7 3.5G Herp Acrylic Tank (temporary) will be £40 AquaOne 7G once cycled
Boo - £20 4G Waterworld Acrylic Tank (temporary) will be a second £40 AquaOne 7G once set up and cycled!

I splash out on my bettas! (pun intended)

Tanks are 21/2 g £7 each
Heaters i got a deal and paid £6 each for 25w
Silk Plants i got 1 dozen on ebay £10
Gravel i have a sack of it in the house

can you change the filter speed on the mirrabello, mums got one.. and it seems very fast for a betta

yes you can. mine is fairly gentle.

yeah i think im gonna get 2 3gal tanks..saw some nice one's for £4.99 in wilkinsons.2.9gals!bargain!

i like using the visi therm 50's because of the thermostat they are about £16 but they're worth it.

Catxx ive got kogen in the 5gal hex and he's a pk so thats cool!£110 is a lot for one fish but he's so worth it!!

i wanted my first betta (in a long time) to have a really nice home, and would love for my others too aswell but the hex's take up a lot of room and wouldnt fit on my shelfs and would prob be too heavy! im gonna get the 2x 2.9gals and upgrade when space is avaliable...

we have a spare room...(FISH ROOM!! )...maybe..
