Hi
I was thinking about keeping fire bellied newts
but after Reading the watEr temps for them 20/21'C
I realised that I wouldn't be able to keep them with my
other amphibians. So does anyone know a newt that
doesn't get to big and tolerates a constant temp of 24/25'C?
Also does anyone else have knowledge of maximum water temp
for fire bellies?

Chinese firebellies must be kept at around (14-20°C), most like cooler temps.
You can read more about Chinese firbellies here- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_Fire_Belly_Newt

And this is the #1 newt and salamander site, they will be able to help you better with your question. :)

Here is an article explaining why newts mostly need lower temp's.

Thx for the links decided to get another tank to house some newts seperately
