Hi Newt Fans,
In my quest to find information on how to care for the Chinese Fire Bellied Newt larvae which I discovered in my plant bowl last week, I came across a really informative site on my newts and many, many others including salamanders.
Check out and in particular articles posted by one of their moderators, Jennifer Macke id "jennewt". There's a great photo gallery too!
I now know how to look after my newt babies and not only that, since finding out how they lay their eggs and what to look for, I've found more eggs! They've only just been laid. This is so great - I'm ecstatic
