Newt legs stuck toghether

Yeah they are stuck toghether with something maybe poop any ideas?

EDIT-> legs undone, but they looked like they were tied toghether in (?)poop(?), and he is still sorta wraped in (?)poop(?) so any thoughts

If I had to guess I would say that he is shedding his skin. I used to have both a fire belly and eastern newt and sometimes they had problems getting their old skin off. One time my fire belly had his legs stuck together for a few minutes before he finally got it off and ate it. lol

I didn't know they did that until I saw my old guys do it for the first time. It's quite interesting. lol
