let see if this will post, if it dose it my daughters bamboo shark, when he was born 3 days ago, you can still see the egg case. now he's 3 days old an is being hand fed an love sshrimp,squid so far. 8)

How big do they grow?The mrs has always said the only way she will let me have another tank in the house is if she can have a shark,looks like i might have found the answer to that

Is that a marine set-up?

If so I may have to convert one of my tanks so I can get one of them fish.

O.K. He's 4 days old today. the egg case was pulled out the day he hatched, so NOT to contaminate the tank. he is or I should say SHE I can't see any claspers when she swims so Im assuming it a SHE. she is 6" long an is eating fresh shrimp, squid, an YES it's SALTWATER. usualy takes 2-6 week on the average from when they are bought from retailer, to hatch, should get 3' long when adult . when she's about a 1'-1'6", will be transfered to a 125 GAL an will be fine. 8)
